Prayer is powerful.
« The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops. » – James 5:16-18
Our 24-7 prayer vigil is a physical and virtual space to inspire constant prayer, around the clock and around the world.
Together, we will pray continuously by each taking hour-long slots throughout the UN climate talks in November, creating a chain of unbroken prayer. Will you join us?

“For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” – Matthew 18:20
Prayer is action.
When we pray, we speak to a mighty and powerful God, the creator of the universe! When we pray, we are part of God’s transforming work of creation and renewal.
As we pray and petition about current issues, injustices and suffering; we must also remember to give thanks and praise for the beauty of the world we live in, and give thanks for the precious earth that God has created.
Through our prayers and actions, we transform hearts and minds to care about justice. In prayer and action, we shine a light to show our world and our governments how great is our love for God, creation and our poorest neighbours.
« I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people – for kings and all those in authority…” – 1 Timothy 2:1-7
