Songs of Creation

At Renew Our World, we believe worship is powerful. Worshipping God transforms our hearts and minds to be more like Christ. It inspires us to deepen our love and concern for our

neighbours. Especially our neighbours suffering poverty and environmental disasters in the changing climate. As we worship our Creator, we join in God’s mission to renew all creation. God calls us to put justice at the heart of our worship.

Here are some suggestions for contemporary worship songs, traditional hymns and liturgical resources to help us worship God. Please use them as part of your Renew Our World worship service. We pray they will help us think about Creation Care through our worship.

Contemporary Worship Songs

Liturgies

Creation Tide has produced some excellent liturgies which can be found here. There are also discussion materials to help you discuss these issues in small groups which can be found here. If you would like daily reflections sent to you throughout Creationtide you can sign up to the EcoChurch Southwest list. Participants will be sent a message every day with a biblical passage, prayer or reflection, questions and stories of creation care. The Diocese of Guildford has also produced a liturgy for Creationtide which you can find here.
